Mounts and higher levels
Yeah this is something in WoW, but I think this would be really cool. Or like morphing into other animals or something. Not just pets..
For the leveling i think only getting to lv20 and maxin' it is bs though. I mean like i played for 8 hrs and got to lv9, its so easy to level. I have plenty of friends who havent played for that long but are alredy lv20.. I heard there was apatch for this soon, is that true?

There's an update every week.
There's no reason for a mount in GW. People would just find ways of using them to run dash past more areas than they already do.

Instant Travel > Mounts. There's absolutely no need for a mount in this game.
As for higher levels, it's a good thing that it stays at 20. It levels the playing field in PvP and it makes it so that someone with 50 hours played can contribute as much to a PvE group as someone with 500 hours played. You can easily have several characters in the high end and you can easily group up with friends who don't play near as much as you do. In GW, even casual gamers can attempt the most difficult portions of the game (although they probably won't do well). In WoW, you have to spend a LOT of time leveling through areas that aren't any more difficult or different than other areas. Once I hit about lvl20 on my WoW characters, gameplay stayed the same, at about the same difficulty, for my next 15 levels (at which point I quit).

good job reading for one.... he said he got to lvl 9 in 8 hours.
Even though he didnt do it is very possible if you get rushed to ascention.

I've not seen any suggestion more quickly argued, debated and even flamed than mounts. However, I've not seen any suggestion more fitting with the game theme. What if a mount was a level 20-ascended-special final quest reward? At level 20, it's simply annoying to stop and kill creeps that give you no xp and don't drop anything worth having... but sometimes I still want to go to these areas. At level 13 I still enjoy wandering around old ascalon, I'd like to still have that option without being harrased by something (level wise) no bigger than a bug to me, a mount could do this. If it were non-transferrable, like pets, and available only as an end-game reward, and not transportable to Cartha, I think it would be great.
/cheer and full support for mounts.

well I like mounts but I think it should be a whole new knight(rider) class, it would have interesting dual classing capabilities. Also mounts would need to be adressed as far as running goes, make there aggro area larger? Make mounts lose control if to many enimies around depending on ammount in mount attribute, other attribute things would include a lance class weapon, mount attacks,
I dunno just a interesting undeveloped thought

or like you know how theres all different animals for all different types.. i was thinking maybe have like a dead horse or someshit for like the necro.. but i think it would be a good idea, and what if you dont have instant access to everywhere? i hate having to take the long walks to where-ever. i think it would be a last thing in the game, yeah. i think it would be a neat thing to do as a last thing before you max out..
and i think thats a cool idea perth, the whole lances and such.. but still be able to use other weapons too.. but the skills would be cool..

There are many ways to make mounts a worthwhile addition in Guild Wars, you just have to stop believing they must be clones of mounts from other games.
Players with the ability to "morph" into animals? Sound like a skill line for a new profession. It could work.
Raising the cap? Pointless. Add more content for ascended characters instead. Getting to lvl20 fast, and then be able to play with your frinds as equals, even if you have different amount of time available, is too good a conept to give up.
